Welcome to Community Language Support Services
(CLSS)
Community Language Support Services (CLSS) assists speakers of community languages (clients) with limited English language skills to communicate with local organisations and people.
We mainly work with black minority ethnic refugee communities mainly those from East Africa and other Arabic speaking communities in Islington and neighbouring London boroughs.

Advice and Guidance
CLSS provides quick and efficient services to those most in need and aims to meet the immediate, medium and long term needs of all of its clients. We also provide activities to promote the well-being of the community especially in health and social care.

We provide services such as: Advice, information, advocacy, face to face or outreach visits to client’s home. We also assist with accessing health services, education and referrals to specialist agencies in law areas such as Immigration.

Workshops
We provide gender-specific health awareness workshops to improve people's awareness and access to services. The sessions enable people in our communities to feel empowered and able to make their own decisions. The sessions are also bringing people together and developing supporting relationships and tackling isolation and loneliness. We are very grateful for the support received by our funders and supporters as their support helps us to help our communities thrive.
